Gregory Blackburn


Gregory Blackburn is an associate of Landau & Associates. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, with degrees in Political Science, Philosophy, and History. Mr. Blackburn was raised in the Midwest, relocated to South Florida for Law school and, upon graduation, decided to stay in the warm climate.

While attending Law School at St. Thomas University, Mr. Blackburn received Book Awards (highest honors) in Trial Advocacy Practice and in ICN- Interviewing, Counselling and Negotiation. While in law school, Mr. Blackburn was Treasurer of the Student Government, a member of the Law Review and also Co-Founded a legal outreach program introducing the study of law to middle and high school children, a program which continues to this day.

Prior to joining Landau & Associates’, Mr. Blackburn litigated in the field of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) as in-house counsel, for over five years. Prior to this, Mr. Blackburn litigated on behalf of the insurance companies for an outside firm and did consultation to an upstart insurance company. This extensive experience on the Defense side of PIP law has given Mr. Blackburn a real understanding of how insurance companies work and how best to litigate against them on behalf of individuals and medical providers.

Mr. Blackburn and his wife live in Fort Lauderdale and enjoy athletics and adventurous travel.
